Refer a business
Get paid for introducing a business that licences its records.
Most of the businesses that qualify for this have no idea it exists. If you know one, an introduction from you is worth more than anything we could send them cold.
How it works
- Get your link. Give us your name and email and your own referral link appears straight away, with wording you can send on.
- Share it. Send it to an owner you actually know. We give you wording you can use so you do not have to write it yourself.
- They apply. They answer six questions and find out whether their records qualify.
- We assess it. A call, then an agreement their own counsel reads. Most businesses do not qualify, and we tell them so quickly.
- You are paid after we are. Once the licence earns, your fee follows.
Which businesses qualify
The same bar as everywhere else on this site:
- 20 or more people
- 3 or more years of records
- Based in the United States
- Outside healthcare and consumer finance
A business that does not clear the bar is told so on the spot, which means you are not left wondering and neither are they.

Your referral link
Anyone who arrives on this link is attributed to you for 90 days. Send it to an owner you actually know, and tell them you may be paid for the introduction.
An email you can send
A text you can send

If you would rather hand it to us than send a link, tell us about them here.
Questions
When am I paid?
After we are paid. A referral that signs but has not yet earned anything has not produced a fee for either of us.
What if they have already applied?
The first valid referral wins. If a business was already talking to us before your referral arrived, it is not credited, but a person looks at those cases rather than a rule rejecting them automatically. If you think a call was wrong, say so and we will look again.
Can I refer my own employer?
No. Introduce us directly instead and we will talk to them without a fee in the middle of it.
Do I have to sell anything?
No. You make an introduction. We do the rest, including telling them no if the answer is no.
Do I have to tell them I am paid?
Yes, every time. It is a condition of the programme, it is the right thing to do, and in some cases it is the law. The form asks you to confirm it.
How am I paid?
By bank transfer, as a 1099 contractor. We collect a W-9 before the first payment.
Referral fees are governed by our Referral Terms.
